At Cyber Daddy, we’re here to shake things up and help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) stay ahead of the game. You see, most SMEs are still handling cybersecurity reactively, waiting for a crisis to strike. And that’s a problem, because when cyber threats hit, they don’t just impact one business, they send ripples across the whole community.
For over 13 years, I was the Global IT Director for a group of small and medium-sized businesses. I experience first hand the pressure they were under, working with tiny IT teams who were stretched thin, trying to juggle day-to-day tasks with the growing complexity of cybersecurity. And the stakes are high. It’s tough for small businesses to bounce back from a breach, and when they’re part of supply chains for bigger players, it’s clear that everyone’s in this together.
So, I started Cyber Daddy with one clear mission: to help SMEs transition from reacting to problems to proactively defending themselves. We’re here to bridge the skills gap and give businesses the confidence to navigate this digital world with their heads held high. We offer practical, affordable solutions tailored to help businesses protect what matters most.

With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Dan has honed his expertise in technology management, cybersecurity strategy, and protecting businesses from evolving cyber threats. His leadership is characterised by a commitment to innovation, strategic thinking, and a profound understanding of the intricacies of cybersecurity.
Dan holds a doctorate in Agile Project Management, as well as key industry certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). These credentials showcase his strength and depth of knowledge across project management, networking, and security disciplines. His comprehensive approach enables Cyber Daddy to provide tailored solutions that empower organisations to navigate the digital landscape with confidence.
